I’m Tyler: a New York Based filmmaker who never imagined he would be creating wedding films.

 

After graduating with my degree in film, I worked at MrBeast, premiered my first feature documentary, worked on music videos in LA... I was living out my childhood dreams, but something wasn’t right. I wasn’t happy.

 

I stumbled into weddings in college, just to make some extra cash, and the last thing I expected was for it to become my greatest love. Over time, I realized that wedding filmmaking allows me to spend my days with beautiful people all over the world on the best day of their lives, instead of on set for 16 hours days with the cinema-tographer barking in my earpiece. I finally found my calling.

 

I didn’t want to add to the noise of the thousands of wedding videographers already out there. I wanted to do something different. I wanted to create a new style entirely. I wanted something honest... something real. Instead of the slow-mo montage with soft piano music overlay, I wanted to capture the moments exactly as they happened, with the rollercoaster of emotions that all my couples experience on their wedding day.

 

Ultimately, marriage is creating a shared memory bank with each other. From the good times to the bad, the laughs and the tears, that’s what you signed up for... that’s what makes it special. That’s what I capture in your film, so that in 30 years you can relive the first day of your lives together. Being able to do that? That’s priceless.
